Great service from Life Alert personnel

My mother passed out and I pressed her Life Alert pendant. The Life Alert personnel come online and asked, “what is your emergency”.

I told them what was happening and to call the ambulance, Life Alert stayed with me until the ambulance came. When the ambulance arrived Life Alert updated the ambulance personal on my mother’s medical history.

Life Alert called my siblings so I didn’t have to worry about those calls and Life Alert also called back later to check on my mother.

My 95-year-old mother’s legs gave out while trying to go from her bedroom to across the call to the bathroom. She called out to me (her daughter) to come help her up because she had fallen.

I ran to her rescue she was sitting upright on the floor in the hallway. I tried to lift her with my own strength, but I could not because of her dead weight and her legs were too weak to help push herself up. I then made my decision to push the button to call for help. Life Alert answered immediately and asked” what is your emergency?” I told them the situation, they contacted local 911 for help.

Within minutes the EMS and fire department were coming down my street and knocking on my door to access the situation and pick my mother up. In the meantime, Life Alert called each one of my siblings so I did not have to worry about making those calls. Life Alert also called back later to check on the situation and mother. She chose not to go to the ER.

Thank you, Life Alert, for being so helpful and efficient on our time of need.

Unfortunately, I was not at home when my husband who is a paraplegic had an appendix attack. He pressed the Life Alert button and someone answered immediately.

A policeman was sent to our apartment within minutes followed by an ambulance to take him to the hospital. Also, Life Alert contacted a few members of our family to inform them of the emergency.

It’s so reassuring Life Alert stays connected the entire time until the paramedics take care of everything and leave.

I was in front of my recliner ready to sit down when my legs suddenly lost all strength and I sank to the floor unable to get up. I pushed the Life Alert around my neck.

Getting in touch with Life Alert and waiting online is too long. But they did resolve the situation. They need to review how long it takes to respond to a customer and how long it takes to resolve an issue with the elderly user of their product.

Thank God for Life Alert when I fell on my icy cold driveway

It was very cold and it had snowed. I was walking up my driveway using a cane after getting my newspaper.

The cane caused me to fall. I went down on my face. I bent my glasses back against my face and broke my nose and got a bump on my forehead. When I finally sat up, I had blood on my face, hands, clothes, and the paper.

I thought had no way to call for help. I sat there for a while. Then I remembered my Life Alert. I called and help came fast.

They then called my children. Two came behind the ambulance. The men on the ambulance got the bed out and put me in the ambulance. Then checked me out and took me to the hospital.

I’m glad my sister and I made our mom get Life Alert. They help her quicker than I can

My 97 ½ year old mother fell on two consecutive mornings. At her age she was not strong enough to get up.

Therefore, she pressed the button on her Life Alert pendant. Life Alert contacted first responders and then me. By the time I dressed and drove the 5 miles to her apartment, my mother had been taken care of and was in bed.

Return unit

Return was great. But trying to send a review was awful.

Said lots of nice stuff about the shipping label that was sent to me and worked so much better then the pick up by Fed Ex that never happened.

I said lots if nice things until I was told that a code was sent to my email. In the process of retrieving the code, I lost all the nice stuff I had written!!

I suggest you send a code with the original message so it is easy to see right away and the reply won't get lost!

It was myself that had the emergency. I live by myself and I was so sick I knew I couldn’t drive myself to the hospital.

I called because I was having a very stressful situation of not being able to breathe, a very bad headache, and back pain feeling that I was going to pass out and feeling rotten. I thought there was a very bad smell in my apartment, but no one could find it.

So, the attendant thought I should go to the ER and find out if something was going on inside me. Life Alert people stayed with me until the attendants arrived. I am very thankful when I do call you folks, you always stay with me until the ambulance people are here. I am so thankful that I signed up with Life Alert years ago and that I can live in my own place and not have to live in a senior home.

Life Alert gives me and my mother peace of mind that she can get help whenever she needs it

Mom fell in her home while going from the living room to the kitchen. She pushed her Life Alert button, they responded right away and stayed on the line with her until paramedics arrived to help her.

She was not injured as the paramedics confirmed and she stayed at home.

I could have died without Life Alert’s assistance

I slid on the floor and could not get up after having a mini stoke. Life Alert came right away after I pushed the button this night.

During a traumatic dog attack, Life Alert quickly got emergency personnel to help me and contacted and my family.

I went out to bring my garbage can back from the street. In my own driveway halfway under my carport a huge dog jumped on my back and knocked me down.

Then it started biting my back and butt! I started screaming and a man at the owner’s place came out and got the dog and put him in the home. I called Life Alert and you were very helpful!! Life Alert called the emergency people and the police to get me help.

Thank you, thank you!!! Transported by ambulance to hospital. I spent 8 hours in the emergency room getting fixed up! Thank you for responding so quickly, and helping with this traumatic experience!
