Our records show that you were involved during the whole process of setting up your mother’s service; selecting and agreeing to the protection package and the cost; and agreeing to the terms and conditions. In addition, we have documentation showing that two months after joining the Life Alert family, you called us to ensure everything was up to date, including the card we have on file for billing. A representative reached out to you to assist in this matter and he left you a message, but you have not returned his call.

I'm done.

I have spoken with your rep Danielle and she still continues to steal money from my account. The account is closed now.

I will not be paying another dime for you to take advantage of my mom. You have upset her, and Danielle had the nerve to suggest that I try and scare my mother after telling me that her idea was a "piece of crap". She lied to me about sending a contract in.

Never happened. I will not recommend LA to anyone I care about.

My mom was told that she was paid up until the end of the year and then 2 weeks later funds were taken from her bank account.

Customer wants to return equipment and they won't give her a return address, gave her the run around on that phone and told her that she has to keep it for the specified time even though she didn't sign any contract. I'm writing this review as her daughter who was there and recorded the conversation for her protection. I plan to warn everyone I know not to use life alert.

No Return Address

Need the address to return equipment. Will not be renewing my contract.

I no longer live alone and do not require this service. There is NO information in their paperwork about returning equipment.

This company takes advantage of elders.

Preferred solution: Just return the equipment because I don’t use it. I will fulfill my contract, but do not want it renewed under any circumstances. This company is shameful!

Please know that you have our deepest sympathies for the loss of your mother and brother.

Life Alert works with family daily with end of life issues, and we understand how difficult this can be.

Since we are a HIPAA compliant company, we keep excellent electronic records of all correspondences as well as audio recordings in order to eliminate any human error. Your complaint is not consistent with our automated records. Our documentation shows that we have mailed letters, and left multiple messages, voice mails and texts to you and other family members, but all went unanswered.

Please call our billing dept. at 1-800-803-6320 to get resolution on the account.

Cancelation customer died 9 months ago

She has not been in the home for the last 5 years and had Died September 28, 2022. We've been trying to cancel Life Alert ever since before 2017-18.

Customer Service keeps Saying that they can't cancel the payments till they can do something with the equipment and we return equipment to post office. Well why can't you cancel payments if we are not using it? It's not been connected to the phone for years and the alarms have been unplugged also. We should own that equipment by now after 10 years of paying for it with automatic withdrawals!

But they keep refusing to cancel the payments! How about we sue you for all the money we've paid since we've been trying to cancel it since 2017! I need to get answers and need to know why this is so hard to do after being a customer for close to 10 years. We need to be compensated and this service cancelled.

We cannot afford $60 a month you've been charging us. You don't even use this old old equipment anymore. And you can have the thing you sent in the mail we never opened and put in the mail "Return To Sender". Please cancel and reimburse us please.

You are stealing our money!! We don't want or need you.

Attempting to send confirmation that father is in ALF and no longer requires Life Alert

I contacted your company last month to inform them that my father is residing in an ALF and will not be returning home. My father is unwilling and unable to utilize his Life Alert system.

I was told to have Brookdale email or fax a letter to your company. The address I was given is not valid. My fathers name is Kenneth J. Christian.

Method Of Payment Question

Hello, Life Alert Emergency Response Customer Service!!! My name is Tyler.

I have a method of payment question.

All that I have right now is a Netspend Visa prepaid debit card with my full name on it and my identity fully verified. Would I be able to use my Netspend Visa prepaid debit card with my full name on it and my identity fully verified to pay for Life Alert system equipment and to pay for Life Alert monthly monitoring bills?

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund. I was on hold and had to call many times.

I received a full refund 3 weeks later. Customer support was terrible.

Would never use life alert in the future. There are many options today.

It has been two weeks and I have spoken to a number of people at different times on different days with no resolution and was put on hold for hours. Due to the lack or knowledge and response from their customer support, I will never go through life alert again nor will I recommend them.

We have never heard of a doctor telling an older patient with underlining health concerns to cancel our lifesaving services. Forced to keep 3-yr contract

I signed a 3-yr contract when I was released from hospital after heart attack over a year ago. I was really out of it when I signed.

My doctor doesn't think I need it any more but I was told I can't get out of it. It's $80/mo that I can't afford.
